My Background

For the past 30 years I have committed my time and energy to guiding families and supporting communities. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish, and a Master's of Art in Counseling, with a Certificate in Grief Counseling.  

With over 16 years experience working as a clinical counsellor, and over 30 years of expertise in the field of autism, I have worked with children across the neuro-diverse spectrum. My extensive experience includes working with young children with autism and with children that have social and behavioral challenges. I provide counseling to children and their families with a variety of needs, working from a holistic approach that is influenced by behavioral therapy, trauma informed practices and Theraplay. 

I have lived in Kenya and worked in East Africa for the past 12 years, however I have presented, both remotely and in person, at conferences as a subject matter expert and have led workshops in the United States, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and South Africa,
